Livi was up to her singing shenanigans again. She is bound to be either a singer, dancer, or actress.

Walking
Jake took his first two steps on Saturday. It was only two, but it was great. He has gotten even better since then. He will be chasing Olivia around by his birthday this year.

Easter Package
Livi and Jake received a package from the Columbia Easter bunny. She was told if she was good Saturday that she could open it after nap. Lee upheld her end of the bargain so after nap she got to open all her goodies. She claimed ownership of pretty much everything in the box which I figured she would, and had a good time with it all. I was a little sneaky though and only added a few Pez from each package to her Pez dispenser. She got excited because she thought she ate them ALL…

Summer Days
Spring is right around the corner. Sunday the weather was perfect and we took advantage of it. Lee got out the reclining furniture, grabbed some gold fish crackers, and enjoyed the sun.

Birthday Party
Olivia had a b-day party this weekend to go to. She was excited and put on some new fancy clothes and sandals. She looked great, and had a good time at the party.

11 Months
Jake is almost 11 months old. Growing up too fast. He is still our sweet boy, compared to our obnoxious little girl.
Quick Lee story. Livi was in her room for for her nap Sunday, and decided to come down early before even sleeping. We were all down stairs and she just showed up with a scowl on her face kind of like “why do you all get to be up and I have to sleep?” Brooke told her she had to go to bed and proceeded to walk with her back up stairs. While heading up with Livi in the lead she asked Livi, why did you come down? No answer… Then asked do you feel ok?… No answer. Then when Livi reached the top of the stairs, instead of turning right to go to her bedroom, she kept her back to Brooke and walked sideways facing the wall so she wouldn’t have to look at her Mommy. Such a little devil sometimes….
And after this next picture, I may never sleep with the door to our bedroom unlocked again. Jake is getting his top teeth…

Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Last night the Leprechaun was his mischievous self. I guess he threw Livi’s panties all over her floor, put green streamer everywhere, and stickers. Livi was very excited this morning when she found the mess in her room. She asked why everything was messy and I told her it must be St. Patrick’s Day and that the leprechaun probably did it. She gave a gasp and immediately wanted Mommy and Daddy to investigate with her. I think the green leprechaun pee in the potty was here favorite (aside from the pot of chocolate gold coins)

Cruising
Jake is now cruising around using Olivia’s chair as well as our kitchen chairs. Who says you need a kid’s walker, he uses what he has around him. My guess is he will be walking by his birthday.

Another Snow Day
We actually had 2 weekends of snow so far this year. This second one was not nearly as deep as the first, but Livi at least got to go out and walk around in it again. She loves the snow, but quickly grows tired of it if nobody is outside to play with her. Neither Brooke nor I wanted to go out right then, so we got a lot of whining from Livi saying “Why is nobody out here watching me?” The beginning of the video below is what she looks like when she is upset at something. Welcome to our world. P.S.
The first weekend of snow…

Octopus Game
Olivia got an octopus game for her birthday last November, but it was broken out of the box. Grandma and Grandpa resent a new one last week and she finally got to play with it. She has gotten pretty good at grabbing the little crabs from their homes.

Computer
Livi has been asking a lot recently to play on the computer. I grabbed my old one and set it up for her on pbskids. She had a good time playing around on the different learning games, and Jake would just sit there laughing and watching his favorite person in the world play.
