Saturday morning we decided to do a trip to Walmart as a family. Since there was no way Brooke could make it the whole time on crutches, she decided she would use on of the motorized shopping carts. Shopping actually went well, aside from that motorized cart being way too slow.

More Crawling
Since there really isn’t much more then kids and work going on, I’ll just post another crawling video. He is getting good. Didn’t realize he only had one sock on when I did this, just keeping it classy! Also, it just wouldn’t be a normal video without Livi playing games on her camera in the background.

Eating
Getting better at the finger food. Didn’t get a good capture of how wide his mouth opens when his hand touches the food. He gets very excited when he is about to put food in his mouth.

Crawling
Jake is finally crawling. Haven’t recorded a lot of it yet, but here is a bit of Jake and Livi playing in the playroom, with some crawling thrown in for good measure. Jake also has 2 teeth now. They are coming in fast!

Back To Normal
Looks like Lee is back to normal. This is her loving the sound the cup makes when she blows into the straw.

Jessica and Alex
Last month Brooke’s friend Jessica and her son Alex visited us in SC. We had a great visit, and Livi and Alex got along great. They arrived on a Thursday evening (when Olivia and Jake were asleep) so Livi got a surprise when she woke up.
Livi and Alex quickly became best friends. Livi shared her bikes with Alex and they had a great time riding around.
There was hula hooping involved.
Some lounging in front of the TV.
A bit of Angry Birds.
On Saturday we all went up to Greenville for the day. Alex and Livi loved picking candy out at the Mast General Store, as well as exploring the toy stores.
We all had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings (one of my favorites)
Livi got AND gave her first kiss (at least I hope it was her first.)
Brooke and Jess (Best Friends)
They both also had fun rolling down the big grass hill.
I would seriously give 100 dollars to anyone that could get Olivia to do a normal smile in her pictures!
Saturday night the kids made Shrinky Dink Christmas ornaments. They turned out great.

Plague
Most of last month Jake was sick. Recently he started projectile vomiting multiple times a day. I think Saturday I went through 3 sets of clothes. On Friday I brought him to the doctor, but they found nothing seriously wrong with him.
The plague struck our house on Monday. Brooke suddenly got some stomach bug Sunday night (late at night) and her crutches posed a big problem. It is hard to make it to the bathroom quickly when you feel like you are going to throw up while in a knee brace and on crutches. Monday morning I had to leave with the kids to get them to school, and Brooke stayed in bed.
Around 1:00 I got a call from Young World (Livi is at YW for one last day before Pre-School starts back up) and they said the Olivia had just thrown up and was crying. So off I went to YW to grab Livi and Jake and bring them home. Lee was pretty puny in the car on the way home.
Notice the yellow bucket in the bottom left of the picture. That bucket came in real handy 10 minutes into the drive. Like a champ, she threw up in the bucket, not spilling a drop. She was feeling better about 2 hours after getting home and we had no repeat performances with the bucket. All seems well in the house now.

Toofs
Jake finally has a little tooth poking through. He has been drooling like a mad man for the last week but it finally showed itself. No more gummy smiles from Jake now…
