Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year.  Our neighborhood has finally taken off.  There was a sea of kids out trick-or-treating as far as the eye could see, we didn’t even have to leave the neighborhood in search of candy.  Jake was at the point of not being able to carry his pumpkin because it was so heavy with candy.

Friday was dress as your favorite book character day at Olivia’s school, and also a Halloween costume party at jakes, so they both left for school dressed up.

After work PC had a small gathering for the kids and gave out candy and had games.  I brought Jake to it for an hour before I had to leave to pick up Livi.  Since she is in Simpsonville, she didn’t get to go (and I didn’t mention it to her.)  Jake had the most fun bowling with the heavy tennis ball, though it took him for ever to knock them down.

Saturday we carved the pumpkins.  Jake was not into it, but played along for a while.  Olivia finished the scooping for him.

Halloween night was great, so much candy.  We will have to thin out the candy herd secretly, because there is no way they should eat that much candy.

Olivia also told me that her friend at school taught her to blow bubbles with gum.  She then tried to show me.  Not sure what is going on here.

Happy Halloween everybody!
