Olivia discovered the Cheeta Girls (she calls them cheerleader girls) at Young World a week or so ago. She had gone into the big kid red building (there are 3 red buildings, by age) and apparantly the bigger girls like to watch videos and dance to them. She picked up some interesting dance moves while in there, all validating the fact that she needs to get to a dance class!!
The other morning Lee was sleeping in, so since Jake had just woken up, Brooke took him into lay with Lee to wake her up. Livi loved it. I think Jake liked it a little, but not as much. It was a nice way for Lee to awaken.
Jake finally got his room finished. He also slept in his room for the first time this week. I believe it was Tuesday. He has been doing great in there and sleeping through the night. Livi loves walking in quietly and looking at him sleeping in there.
I don’t know if Livi likes singing, acting or dancing better, but in this case she is sure loving her singing. Brooke and I loved it too, but Jake, not so much. Not sure why, unless it was just too loud for him. He got pretty upset, but Livi just pressed on. And while singing a Lady Gaga song would not be my choice for Lee, at least it was the acoustic version she is imitating, which is actually a great rendition.
August 1 was Lu’s birthday. We celebrated with some puppy ice cream. Lu loved it and Lee loved watching her eat it. Happy Birthday Lu!
Lee has been very good at making her bed every morning. She picked it up pretty quickly. She also loves doing it which is great. Go LEE!!
