Well, he finally made it. Jake is walking before his birthday. Not talking or holding bottles on his own, but walking at least. You also get to see the little fits he throws. These fits are typically his 6:00 scheduled fits.

Baby Animals
Friday was baby animal day at the Thornwell Farm. Livi’s school went, as did a few other schools. She got to see and pet lots of animals, the snake being her favorite she says. Seems like she had a great time, but I am not sure how those animals survived!

Fly A Kite
Livi got a kite for Easter, and the weather finally got nice enough to go out and fly it. We broke out the kite and gave it a try. The wind wasn’t very cooperative, but she had fun none the less.

Spring
The weather has been beautiful here. It has been hot, but Livi seems to think it is hotter than it really is. What a look!

Greenville Zoo
We finally made it to the Greenville Zoo last week. It is a very small zoo, but has a new baby giraffe. We had a good time there, though it was extremely crowded. She particularly loved seeing the monkeys swinging around and making all their noise.

Easter 2013
We had a fun Easter again this year. As usual, we went overboard on stuff for the kids. The weekend kicked off with us going and seeing the Easter Bunny at the Mall. Livi was worried, and kind of scared knowing we were going, but we tried to work him up the best we could. She finally said that if I stood next to her she would get her picture taken with him. Luckily that didn’t have to happen, because she put Jake between her and the bunny.
Saturday we colored eggs. It is always stressful having dye, a wood table, and Livi all together.
Sunday morning was a blur of egg hunting and gifts. Lee was excited to find eggs and found them in less time than it took us to hide them. We need to start hiding them a little harder next time for her.
That afternoon we headed down to Lexington to Mima and Botow’s for Easter lunch and some more egg hunting. We were entertained at lunch by Livi’s singing.
Then Lee searched for eggs outside
Finally, she got to see what the Easter Bunny brought her. She had lots of fun with the silly-string.
