Olivia made it to 4. More importantly, Brooke and I survived 4 years of Livi. Livi had 3 celebrations. One on her real birthday at home, one at school the next day (since there was no school on Nov 6) and a final one on Saturday with Mima and Botow.
Tuesday Nov 6, Livi woke up to balloons on the kitchen table and powdered donuts with a candle. We sang happy birthday to her and she got to eat her donuts.
After school we asked her what she wanted for dinner. She said Pizza. We asked if she wanted to go somewhere else, like her favorite macaroni place, or get quesadillas at Moe’s, but no, she wanted pizza, so I pulled a frozen pizza out of the freezer and we cooked that up and had it for dinner. After pizza, we had some cake and opened some presents.
Livi was already cranky, and wasn’t very happy at this point. She got over it (this time) and ate more cake and then we opened presents.
Livi got some great presents, including a monkey robe just like Mommy’s. She loved it when we opened it, but as soon as we asked her to try in on for a picture, she fell apart. It was not a good birthday night.
That was part 1.
Saturday Mima and Botow came up and we celebrated her birthday again. We opened some presents first because Livi was excited to. Lee got a big-wheel, which she had lots of fun on as well as other fun stuff.
Now, Livi had been asking all week for a Princess Cake, however, Oliva does not like cake, cupcakes, or cookies. Not sure where that comes from, but she won’t eat it if we have it, so instead of a princess cake, Brooke got an ice cream cake. We even told Olivia she would be getting an ice cream cake. Though, I am sure that in her mind, that just meant an ice cream princess cake. As you will see next, she was not too happy with us. This is kind of how our week had been anyway so we just rolled with it. She did get over it pretty fast once she tasted it though.
….and here is where it fell apart…..
All in all it was a fun birthday and Livi loves all her gifts. I’ll leave you with this picture, as this is how we will remember her on her 4th B-day!!
