Bed Time

Jake has been exploring getting out of bed more and more these days after we put him down.  Actually, the two feed off each other’s antics at bed time.  They both go the their open doors and see if the other is there, then decide to do some wild stuff.  Last two nights were worse than others in the mess department as you can see form the pictures of the stairs.  I guess emptying his drawers and throwing everything down the stairs was his idea of fun.  Needless to say, things are changing with bedtime now.  We have put a doorknob guard on Jake’s door so he can’t open it if we close it.  He gets his door closed if we see him getting out of his room after he gets put down.  He doesn’t like it one bit.  And I don’t know why the boots, mittens and hat were something he wanted in the summertime, however, it sure was cute.
