Home for Olivia's adventures.

Olivia was really looking forward to St. Patty’s day again this year. She remembers all the mischief that the little leprechaun caused last year and also the chocolate gold coins. Well, he appeared last night. I was woken up at 2:00 in the morning by a wide eyed Lee excitedly telling me that he had been in her room and there were clothes all over the floor and a big mess. I was hoping she wouldn’t find it until the morning, but either way, it was fun watching how excited she was in the middle of the night. And I am kind of surprised the whole situation didn’t freak her out a little more.
We have been working on Jake’s manners at the kitchen table. He is actually pretty good about it. We keep asking him to try and say “may I be excused please.” He says what we think is that, but he also gets really excited to say “hand” and put out his hand, because he wants you to help him down from the table. So really, all we get is “blah blah blah blah… HAND!!” but at least we know what he is meaning to say.
Want to see how a tired Jake reacts when he doesn’t get his way? Neither do we, but here you go anyway. He really wants to play with the Leappad, but it is now Olivia’s overdue turn with it. Jake is not amused.
Big one is supposed to be later today. Wasn’t good snowman snow, but we were able to build a “Choomb” sized snowman.
Lee was feeling patriotic last night and sang us some songs. They are probably preparing for President’s Day at school.
