More Dress Up

Livi still has dress up as her favorite game.  She likes to dress us up more than herself, but she still enjoys doing it herself as well.

Cake Mix

As Olivia gets older, I need to start sharing more with her.  DARN!!  Now I am sharing cupcake cupcake batter with her.  I used to get to lick the beaters and bowl all by myself.  Well, Olivia discovered this and it is now her favorite as well.  Oh well, there is plenty to go around!

Florida

We had a great trip to Florida last week.  We got to see some old friends, spend lots of time with family, and bring Livi to the beach again.  We had a great time.

We got a lot of swim time in the pool.  Livi really liked the pool this time.

I tried getting her to blow bubbles in the water to get her used to putting her face in, but all she wanted to do was drink like a dog.

Ryan and Olivia had fun creating new ways to play with dog kennels.

Livi had the most fun at the beach.  We were able to go there two days.  The first day we forgot her beach toys, but luckily found this little broken green shovel half buried in the sand.  She loved it and it became a staple the first day.

Between beach visits, Olivia got some relaxing time in.  She was looking cute in her heart shirt outfit so we had to get some quick shots in.  We actually got some real smiles out of her.

Then back to the beach.  Livi sat on a boogie board in the ocean, but got hit with a big wave that soaked her.  Shocked her a little, but she was right back in, sans boogie board, soon after.

We couldn’t keep her away from her bucket and shovel.  Well, actually, she liked using her hands to dig in the sand more than the shovel.

We were even able to get a few nights out as adults!!

We had a great time and hope to do it again next year!!!

Mother’s Day

I hope everyone had a happy Mother’s Day.  We spent it down in Lexington with Mima and Boto (it is Boto again, though still Grandpa at times.)  We put Olivia down early for a nap, figuring that there would be no sleep, but to our amazement, she did sleep for a while.  She woke up in a great mood.

When we got to Lexington, we went outside and Olivia immediately started chasing a lizard she saw.  She loved it.

After lizard hunting it was time for a swim in the inflatable pool.

We then came inside and had lunch and finished it off with some cake, Olivia’s favorite thing!!

Happy Mother’s Day!!

Kitty

Livi loves our next door neighbor’s cat named Delilah.  Brooke will occasionally feed her some food when Delilah is looking more pathetic than normal.  On this night, we had just gotten back from a long night at Rob and Marcia’s but couldn’t deny Livi some kitty time.

Last Easter Post

Since I don’t have a lot to post at the moment, I will finish up with a final Easter post.  I realized that a few people may not have seen these yet so wanted to throw them up.  Perhaps someday Lee will learn that these big fuzzy creatures bring gifts!!!

Hard Boiled Easter Eggs

For Easter dinner, we let Olivia have on of her hard boiled eggs.  She has always liked hard boiled eggs, but normally gets them cut up on her plate.  This time I peeled it and let her go to town on a whole egg.  She loved it, and Zoe wanted a piece as well.
