Easter Sunday

The Easter bunny definitely came to the Spatta  house Sunday.  Livi got lots of candy and loved hunting for eggs.  We werent sure  how well she would do as this is the first year of egg hunting for her, but she did great.  She found all the eggs in about 5 minutes.

After eggs, Livi went down for a nap, and then we headed up to look at the house and play in the playground by the house.  House is looking good, just about totally framed.  I met our new neighbors while there as well, they seem very nice.  They have a 7 year old girl and 8 year boy and have lived there for 3 years.

More Framing and Easter Bunny

The house is still coming along.  Roof trusses are up!!

Since Brooke and I had Friday off, we decided to take Olivia to see the Easter Bunny.  We got her all dressed up in her Easter dress and prepared for the 1 hour drive to Greenville where the Easter bunny lives.  We pulled into the parking lot and as we were about to park, we heard a familiar sound from the back seat.  Livi had thrown up.  There goes her fresh new Easter dress, it was everywhere.  We pulled into a spot and proceeded to clean her up.  Luckily we decided to have some spare clothes since we figured we may go play afterwards.  After she got new clothes on, we headed into Macy’s and found a brand new Easter dress that she could use for a quick bunny picture.

In true Livi fashion, the Easter bunny didn’t go well.  She screamed at the top of her lungs when I put her on his lap, so I had to be in the picture this year.  Her lungs are stronger than previous years, she was LOUD!!

Easter

Sunday was Easter at PC.  We all had a great time and Livi got lots of candy filled eggs.  There were bounce houses, slides, a train and lots of kids.  After the hunt, we came back to the house and had dinner and let Livi entertain us.  It was a good early Easter.

Back From My Trip

Well, I made it back and Brooke managed to stay out of labor for the 4 days I was gone, which is a relief!!  Had a good time, but was also exhausted, they were long days out there, especially with the 3 hour time difference.

Livi was excited to see me Friday morning, I don’t think she expected it.  I peeked my head in her room and she smiled and said “heyyyy!!”  Was cute.

We drove up to see how far they got on the house today, expecting it to be framed, but it is just a lonely slab still.  Oh well, I expect this week they will fly on it, plus it gives me a chance to go up a few times this week and see the progress.  My guess is it will be fully framed by next Saturday.

Tomorrow is Easter at PC,  and Mima and Botow are coming up for that.  I hope Livi gets lots of eggs and candy while there.  She will have a great time, plus the weather is supposed to be great!!

Baby Shower

A few of Brooke’s friends threw her a baby shower last weekend.  We got lots of great stuff for Spatta 2.0, including a few things that Olivia was interested in.  Livi loves her little princess towels that she has, and Spatta 2.0 got a few new ones.  Livi had to try them out and make sure they were safe for baby brother.

One of Olivia’s many talents is picking up songs that she hears at school and singing them at home.  Her most recent “favorite” song.  I think she likes it because it says “lets have a party.”

I keep forgetting to turn my phone sideways when taking videos recently.  I fix it about 10 seconds in, but not sure why the first part is so blurry.
