Big Girl Bike

We finally got Livi a real bike.  It is the end of summer, but she still has some riding days left before it is too cold.  She love it and has gotten pretty good at it so far.  She was kind of inbetween sizes, so we went with the smaller version rather than having her reach with her toes to pedal.  On this bike, I need to run to keep up with her if she decides to go fast.  No more easy strolls with her on a bike.

**Update… We had our first crash tonight.  Livi got going a little too fast and looked back and lost control.  The whole bike went over and she went down hard.  Nothing major, a little cut on her thumb, but broke her basket in the front.  That was the first thing I could understand over the crying was “my wheel broke” meaning the little wheel on her basket.  She is all good now, but was pretty shaken up.  I am sure she will get back on the horse soon!!!
