A week or so ago, Livi’s class went on a trip to the local fire department to learn about firefighters, trucks, and fires. Parents were invited to come along and so I decided to go. It was fun seeing Olivia interact with the others. She was very good, listened to everything and seemed to learn a lot.
She learned all about the fire suits they wear and even saw somebody slide down the pole.
She even had time to play ring-around-the-Rosie.
And after all of that, she got back to school and drew a picture of the fire station and trucks, and then gave a quick narrative of what they drew. All the other kids said things that made sense. Leave it to Lee to write something like this:

"Bathing suit". Funny! And she looked like she had a great time when there.
I think Livi is refering to the suit as a bathing suit because it looks a bit like scuba diving gear. Fun day!
