Chip Please

The only thing Livi likes more than chips, is chips and dip.  She usually forgets that dip is available, mainly because I try and hid it when I am dipping something, but other times, she just knows.  Here she is refusing a chip unless it has dip on it.  She knows what she likes!!

 

Hotdog Then Pop

We received a Valentine’s Day package form Aunt Gail and Uncle Merle Friday.  Seeing as we are as excited to give Olivia presents as she is to receive them, we decided to make it an early gift and not wait until Monday.  She got very excited when she found out that there were lollipops in there.  We told her she could have her “pop” after she had a hotdog for dinner.  She kept saying “hotdog and pop” and we had to keep correcting her by saying “hotdog THEN pop.”  She ended up eating ALL her dinner like a good girl and got to enjoy her pop!!  Thanks Gail and Merle!!  The second video is very long, but I didn’t have the heart to cut any of it, there are too many little “gems” in there.

 

Best Night

Livi got some use out of her rain gear last weekend. We ducked into the bookstore to look around and she found these little puppies stuffed animals and didn't want to leave.

Tonight was a night where Brooke had to work late so I was home alone with Lee. After her bath I put her in her jammies and let her dance around to some music. I grabbed her hands and we spun around in circles together, then while spinning she looked up at me and said "can I have a kiss Daddy?" I gave her a big kiss.. Best night ever.

Daddy’s Chest

The other night before bed time, I was reading Olivia a story and she decided it would be fun to look down my shirt.  She got fascinated that there was all sorts of stuff going on in there.  There is hair on the chest, a belly button, rock hard abs (well, maybe that is an exaggeration), but she loved it.  She kept pulling my collar back so she could see, then she would reach in and touch my chest and laugh.  It was pretty funny how excited she got.

Dressup

Mima and Boto came up last weekend to see Livi.  We had a good time.  It started off with Rob and Livi playing dress-up (well, Rob got dressed up, Livi did the dressing.)

After Livi got comfortable with all the clothes, she decided to dress up herself a little as well.  She has not shown interest in this before so we were excited that she did it even just a little bit.

After dress up, we headed to the farm.  We have never seen it so crowded, lots of people were there and one of Brooke’s students happened to be there giving rides on her horse to kids.  She asked us if Olivia would like a ride and we quickly said “yes.”  I figured Livi would shy away but she got right on the horse and rode around on it with her.  She seemed to really enjoy it.  The horse’s name was Bingo.

After the farm we went out to dinner at a new restaurant here in Clinton.  It is a new Habachi type restaurant (minus the show) and is actually very good!  We finished eating, came home and did the night time routine with Lee and put her to bed.  It was a fun day!

Home Photo Shoot

Livi was in a good mood so we decided to break out the camera and see what happens.  She was actually pretty photogenic (unlike normal) and let us snap away and gave us some real smiles as well.
