Bye Bye Pee Pee

Our latest Livi news is that we decided to start easing Olivia into potty training.  Noting forceful, just see how she takes to it.  We bought her a little seat that goes over the seat that she can sit on because we don’t want her using a little separate baby toilet that we have to empty ourselves.  Seeing that Olivia pees every time we put her in the bathtub, we decided to put her on the potty each night right before she gets into the tub.  The first two nights she sat there but struggled to get off, so we had to entertain her with little toys to keep her mind off of being on something foreign.  She sat there for about 2 minutes each night and didn’t pee, but we were determined.  Two nights ago it happened.  She sat there for about 1 minute then PEED!!  We got very excited as did she, then she asked for a “wipe” so we gave her some toilet paper and she acted like she wiped, dropped it in the toilet and then said “bye bye pee pee.”  We flushed it and she again said “bye bye pee pee” and laughed.  Same thing happened tonight, however she really wanted to pee this time and started shaking trying to get some pee out.  It was sooooooo funny.  Her little legs went up and shook like crazy, then she would laugh.  On her last push, she peed, and we threw a little party.  Again she asked for a wipe, did her thing, dropped it in and say “bye bye pee pee.”  We are very proud of our little pee girl!

On another note, Livi went to her second ever birthday party on Saturday.  It was a friend from Young World that invited her.  She had an OK time but was kind of in a bad mood before she left anyway.  Below is her in her party outfit.  Go Lee!!
